The Hyderabad Public School at RSIC 2026: A Journey of Learning, Leadership and Global Friendships!
A memorable international experience unfolded for the students of The Hyderabad Public School at the Round Square International Conference (RSIC) 2026, hosted by Barker College, Australia.
The conference brought together students from across the world, fostering cultural exchange, collaboration and lifelong friendships. From an engaging opening ceremony and inspiring keynote addresses to interactive Baraza sessions, our students explored the Round Square IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership and Service.
The Sydney Urban Challenge tested their teamwork, decision-making, navigation and budgeting skills as they explored the city using different modes of transport. A clothes-sorting initiative highlighted sustainability and service, while a challenging trek showcased conservation efforts. The cultural evening and Baraza talent shows provided wonderful opportunities for students to celebrate their identities, creativity and collective spirit.
Beyond the conference, the journey continued through the breathtaking landscapes of Cairns. The delegation explored the Kuranda rainforest, experienced Indigenous Australian culture, encountered native wildlife and discovered the extraordinary beauty of the Great Barrier Reef, where coral ecosystems and marine life offered unforgettable lessons in nature and conservation.
RSIC 2026 was far more than a conference; it was an opportunity for our students to step beyond their comfort zones, embrace diverse perspectives, develop leadership skills and build meaningful connections across borders.
As our students return with cherished memories, new friendships and invaluable life lessons, they carry forward the spirit of global citizenship and the values that define the Round Square experience.
Learning beyond boundaries. Growing through experiences. Leading with purpose.
