Field Trip – Sanjeeviah Park
On April 9, 2026, students from grades 8 and 9 of the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, embarked on an exhilarating educational excursion to the DO Science Museum in Sanjivaiah Park, Hyderabad. The trip proved to be a perfect blend of learning and adventure, igniting our young minds with wonder.
The day began with hands-on explorations in the Physics outdoor gallery. Students marvelled at interactive exhibits demonstrating Newton’s laws of motion: witnessing inertia through rolling balls and acceleration via pendulum swings. They delved into pulley systems, pulling ropes to lift weights and grasping the principles of mechanical advantage. The Astronomy lab captivated all, where starry simulations and telescope models unveiled the cosmos’s mysteries.
Venturing outdoors, the group discovered the enchanting butterfly garden, alive with vibrant species like the Monarch and Blue Tiger fluttering amid nectar-rich blooms. The maze garden added thrills, as laughter echoed through twisting hedges during friendly races to the center.
This delightful day in the wilderness fostered curiosity and camaraderie, creating cherished memories of discovery and joy. The students returned inspired, eager to apply their newfound knowledge.
