Educational Visit to Rashtrapati Nilayam, Bolaram

On 23rd October 2025, students of Grades 6, 7, and 8 (Cambridge curriculum) from The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, participated in an experiential learning visit to the historic Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bolaram, Secunderabad. The group, comprising 156 students and 14 accompanying teachers, explored one of the esteemed Presidential Retreats in India.

The guided tour offered valuable insights into the nation’s governance, architecture, and heritage. Students visited the ceremonial halls, landscaped gardens, and museum sections that chronicle the evolution of the Indian Presidency and its role in the country’s democratic framework. The visit deepened their understanding of constitutional responsibilities and the significance of preserving national monuments.

Learners also observed Nilayam’s sustainable landscaping practices, reinforcing their awareness of environmental conservation. Despite the extensive walk through the expansive estate, students remained enthusiastic and engaged, asking thoughtful questions that reflected their curiosity and learning spirit. The school takes pride in its students for demonstrating exemplary conduct, curiosity, and respect throughout the visit.
