On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day, 10 students from Grades 9 to 12 across curricula participated in the ‘Be the Roshini’ event organized by Roshini Trust/NGO on 10 September 2026.

The event aimed to raise awareness and promote mental health through creative expression.
Our students enthusiastically participated in Video Making and Poster Making competitions (handmade and digital). 

Akshaya Avunuri of grade 9M won the Second Prize in the Poster Making competition (handmade).

HPS, Begumpet was recognized and felicitated for its wholehearted participation and support.

The event was a meaningful platform for students to showcase their creativity while spreading awareness about suicide prevention and mental well-being.
