Annual Art and Craft Display 2023
The Annual Art and Craft display in the Primary Wing is an eagerly awaited event that showcases the creativity of our talented students. Held on World Art Day, April 15, 2023, this event provided a platform for children to express their emotions and showcase their artistic abilities. The art and craft displays captivated the viewers, especially the parents, who were in awe of the budding artists’ talents.
The exhibition featured a wide range of artwork, including pencil sketches, colored portraits, and watercolor landscapes. It also included pieces from regular art classes, such as exercises in linear perspective, meditative line works, and mandala art. The craft section was a visual treat, displaying various creations such as collage works, origami, paper puppets, and innovative crafts made from recycled materials like pistachio shells, old bangles, cardboard boxes, small medicine bottles, and CDs. These incredible crafts were the result of nimble hands and imaginative minds.
A special section was dedicated to art activities, showcasing beautiful canvas paintings, pencil shading on white and pastel sheets, watercolor flowers, still life compositions, and both 2D and 3D clay works. Visitors flocked to the photo booth, which was creatively constructed using waste canisters and featured the phrase “HPS 100.” Another frame displayed caricature portraits of master artists, adding an element of fun to the event.
All participants were appreciated and acknowledged for their efforts and artistry. This event truly highlighted the immense talent and creativity present within our primary school students. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event a resounding success and look forward to more remarkable displays of art and craft in the future.
