INTRA HPSMUN

The third edition of Intra HPSMUN was a memorable and successful experience, bringing together over 200 delegates from Classes 4 to 8 across 8 committees. From beginner-friendly committees such as ICAW for Grade 4 delegates to flagship committees such as DISEC for Grade 8, the conference gave students of different ages and experience levels an opportunity to experience Model United Nations. The conference began with an opening ceremony, where our Chief Guest, Ms Parul Sharma, Coordinator of the Primary Years, officially declared the conference open, followed by the first committee sessions. While many delegates entered their committees nervous and unsure, they gradually grew more confident, learning to raise placards, deliver speeches, engage in debate and collaborate with others. On the second day, the committees continued developing solutions, with crisis situations in several committees challenging delegates to think quickly and adapt to unexpected developments.

The conference concluded with a closing ceremony where our Chief Guest, Mr Mukesh Chandra Paneru, Head of Sports, presented awards to delegates for their contributions and officially declared the conference closed. Behind the scenes, the Secretariat, Executive Boards, USGs and Organising Committee worked together through months of preparation and coordination to ensure the conference ran smoothly. Ultimately, the success of HPS Intra MUN was not measured simply by its 200+ delegates or 8 committees, but by the growth of the students who participated. For many, it was their first experience of public speaking, debate and collaboration, and seeing them leave with greater confidence, new experiences and a willingness to express their ideas was what truly made the third edition of HPS Intra MUN memorable.
