ASISC Inter-School Art Competition 2026–27
Three students from The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet—Rishika Chaturvedi (Class 8A), Suhana Trehan (Class 10D), and Saisha Lalwani (Class 12E)—participated in the ASISC Inter-School Art Competition held at Princess Esin High School, Purani Haveli, on 7th July 2026. Competing against students from over 20 schools, Saisha Lalwani secured Second Prize in the Senior category.
Before the competition began, there was a mix of excitement and nervousness. The beautiful green campus and pleasant weather created a calm and welcoming atmosphere that quickly eased the anxiety and filled everyone with enthusiasm. As soon as the theme for the competition was announced, it was time to focus completely on transforming ideas into artwork.
The next four hours passed in what felt like moments. Every minute was spent thinking creatively, making quick decisions, solving unexpected challenges, and working against the clock to complete the painting. Despite the pressure, there was immense satisfaction in bringing the artwork to life and submitting a finished piece within the limited time.
The entire experience was both challenging and rewarding. It strengthened creative thinking, improved time management, and taught the importance of adapting to unexpected situations. Even when things did not go exactly as planned, small mistakes often turned into creative opportunities. Although the competition was intense and stressful, the joy of seeing the final artwork and achieving success made every moment worthwhile. It was an unforgettable learning experience that built confidence, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for artistic expression.
