The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet Hosts Inter-School Article Review Competition

The Cambridge Department of The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet successfully organised the Inter-School Article Review Competition on 18 July 2026, bringing together some of the finest young minds from across Hyderabad for a morning of intellectual exchange, critical analysis, and engaging debate.

The competition welcomed eight teams from six reputed schools, including CHIREC IBDP, Delhi Public School (Nacharam), Suchitra Academy, Birla Open Minds International School (Kollur), HPS Begumpet ISC, and HPS Begumpet Cambridge. The event provided students with a unique platform to demonstrate their analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to evaluate contemporary issues through structured article reviews.

Each team delivered a 15-minute presentation, followed by a 5-minute rebuttal session, during which participants confidently defended their viewpoints and responded to questions posed by the judges. The presentations reflected thorough research, thoughtful interpretation, and well-supported arguments, making the competition both intellectually stimulating and highly competitive.

An esteemed panel of judges evaluated the teams on parameters including critical thinking, depth of analysis, clarity of presentation, evidence-based reasoning, communication skills, and effectiveness during the rebuttal round. Their insightful feedback encouraged students to refine their analytical abilities and appreciate diverse perspectives.

The event commenced with a warm welcome and an introduction to the competition format, followed by the presentations. The programme concluded with the judges’ feedback, the announcement of winners, and the presentation of certificates, celebrating the outstanding efforts of all participants.

The success of the competition was made possible through the guidance and encouragement of Dr. Skand Bali, Principal, and the unwavering support of the Leadership Team.
