On 17 July 2026, the campus of The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, resonated with ideas, imagination, and the unmistakable energy of young literary minds as it hosted the annual Cambridge Literature Festival 2026. More than a competition, the festival was a celebration of the enduring power of literature to inspire curiosity, foster dialogue, and nurture confident, compassionate communicators.

Bringing together students from Grades 6 to 12, the festival welcomed participants from Cambridge schools across Hyderabad, creating a vibrant community united by a shared appreciation for language, storytelling, and thoughtful expression. Throughout the day, classrooms transformed into spaces of spirited debate, dramatic interpretation, creative writing, and spoken-word performance, reflecting the many ways in which literature continues to shape the way we understand ourselves and the world around us.

Thoughtfully curated for different age groups, the festival featured a diverse range of events that encouraged students to engage with literature beyond the written page. From debates and creative writing challenges to storytelling, character monologues, literary interviews, and slam poetry, each competition invited participants to think critically, communicate confidently, and explore literature through multiple forms of expression.
