Report: Cambridge Community Meet – March 2026

The Cambridge Community Meet for Andhra Pradesh & Telangana was held on 28th March 2026 at The Delhi Public School Nacharam. The event brought together educators and academic leaders to discuss professional growth opportunities within the Cambridge framework. 

A thoughtfully curated cultural performance celebrating diversity, creativity, and the spirit of the Cambridge community served as a welcome to all delegates. Forward-looking update on curriculum enhancements, pathway developments, assessment insights and new support resources designed to elevate school impact were shared by the Cambridge South India team. Setting the context for collaboration and outlining the vision for the community. 

This was followed by a dynamic discussion with university leaders, school heads, alumni and ambassadors on what truly matters in higher education and the workplace — and how Cambridge prepares learners for the future of work. An elegant networking breaks for authentic exchanges and cross school collaboration. 

 The first session was a Café-style collaboration focused on classroom practice, learner development and strengthening foundational years. They emphasized the strategic use of support hub and building RICER learners-Responsible, Innovative, Confident, Engaged and Reflective. Continued conversations over lunch helped in strengthening partnerships and community connections.

 The second session was a focused dialogue on the advanced STEM+ pathway, research-driven learning and preparation for competitive Indian high-stakes examinations for IGCSE & A level. They also emphasized Cambridge connection on Bridge course and its implementation planning framework. The session also addressed flexible implementational support through integrated day wise lesson plan, standalone lesson plan and suggested teaching ideas.

 A key highlight of the meet was the Special Professional Development Qualification (PDQ) session conducted by Ms. Arpita Mukherjee, Manager, Assessments at Cambridge International. In her address, she emphasized the importance of PDQs in enhancing teaching skills, promoting continuous self-upgradation and adapting to evolving educational practices.

During the session, three educators, Ms.Mandeep Kaur, Ms.Sreelatha, and Ms.Bhargavi shared their experiences of completing PDQ programmes in Educational Leadership and Teaching and Learning in Digital Technology, offering valuable insights into the practical benefits of these qualifications. The session transitioned into an engaging panel discussion, where the audience actively interacted with the speakers, raising queries and gaining clarity on PDQ courses and their applicability.

A key highlight of the meet was the Red pen session. It focused on profike building and documentations pertaining to admissions. It focussed on different documents needed for different countries. It also emphasized on a break up on subject combos and career options.

 The Cambridge Community Meet ended with a summary of Key takeaways, reflections and the next steps for continued collaboration within the Cambridge network.
