Stress Management Session
A Stress Management Workshop for Grade 8
As our Grade 8 students prepare for the Cambridge Checkpoint Examinations, we are committed to supporting not only their academic preparation but also their emotional well-being. In line with this, Ms. Samprikta Datta, Counsellor for the International Curriculum, recently conducted a focused workshop on “Coping with Stress & Exam Readiness.”
The session guided students in understanding stress, recognising its symptoms, and identifying optimal levels of arousal for effective performance. Practical strategies for stress management, time management and scheduling, and effective study skills including the use of mnemonics were explored. Activities such as SWOT analysis, the priority quadrant, and goal setting further encouraged self-awareness, organisation, and exam readiness.
The workshop aimed to equip students not only for their upcoming examinations but also with lifelong skills to manage stress, build resilience, and approach challenges with confidence.
