Learning today, safer roads tomorrow!

Road Safety Awareness Programme | HPS Begumpet

The Middle School students of The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet on 20 January 2026 actively participated in a Road Safety Awareness Programme aimed at promoting responsible road behaviour and civic awareness.

Students engaged in meaningful and creative activities that reinforced the importance of following traffic rules:

•  Sticker Making Competition (Grades 6–8) highlighting key road safety messages.
•  Road Safety Oath by Parents, encouraging the consistent use of helmets and seat belts.
•  Student-led Survey observing helmet and seat belt usage during school dispersal.

These activities helped students understand that road safety is a shared responsibility between individuals, families, and the community.

A follow-up survey will be conducted to measure the impact of this initiative. Together, we are building a safer and more responsible community — one step at a time.
