Geo Map Quiz, 2025 is an annual feature and an attempt to promote the importance of maps and navigation in our everyday lives, especially among school students. It is conducted by the Geo Map Society (GEMS) that aims to promote maps and map related activities.

The modules for the annual event were based on Topographical Maps,Satellite Imagery, GPS Space Technology,SDG.

In order to impart spatial learning at an early stage, our school has been keen on encouraging students to take part in this quiz. The preliminary round was conducted in the school on 24th November, 2025 by the department of Geography in which 100 teams from Grades 7 to 10 had participated. A total of 7 teams from the Junior level (grade 7 & 8 ) and 6 teams from the Senior level (Grade 9 & 10) were selected for the final round. The Final round was scheduled to be held on the 6th of December,2025 at the Exhibition Ground ,Nampally.

The event was an exhilarating and energetic show of over 200 teams from various schools across Hyderabad. The competition was designed to test the critical thinking and navigational skills of the students.The participants competed against each other in a series of challenges which included a treasure-hunt-based search for landmarks across the area, an analysis-based study, and a skill test to test the capabilities of the students. 

Out of the 200 teams that participated in the finals,top 10 teams were felicitated.

 Sri Harsha of 9J and Yathansh Reddy of  10H won the eighth place in the Senior category and Navaneeth Konda and Veda Varshita of 8B won the 6th place in the Junior Category. 

The Hyderabad Public School and the teacher coordinators were also felicitated by the GeoMap Society.
