Grade 1 of the Foundational Years celebrated Grandparents’ Day with an event aptly titled Memory Café. Grandparents and grandchildren teamed up to present their signature family dishes, complete with themed costumes and café-style presentations. The event beautifully embodied the Te Whāriki principle of learning through relationships, highlighting the intergenerational bond as a source of knowledge and values. We are deeply thankful to Ms. Manisha Sinha and Mr. Rajendra for judging the event and making the occasion truly memorable.
