An insightful and inspiring session on Career Opportunities in Nuclear Science was organised on 7th November 2025 for the students of Classes 11 and 12 (ISC and Cambridge Curriculum) by the Chemistry Department of HPS Begumpet.

The school had the privilege of hosting Mr. Y. Balajirao, a distinguished Nuclear Scientist, as the guest speaker for the day. Mr. Balajirao delivered an enriching presentation on Nuclear Science and the vast range of career opportunities in this field. His talk provided students with a clear understanding of nuclear energy, its applications, current advancements, and its crucial role in national development.

He also offered valuable insights on the academic pathways, essential skills, and emerging prospects in nuclear research and allied domains. The session was highly engaging and thought-provoking, keeping the students attentive and involved throughout.
