Hindi Diwas Celebration
Hindi Diwas Celebration
The Hindi Diwas celebration was held with great enthusiasm in the Shaheen Auditorium of Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, on 11th October 2025, at 8:30 a.m. The program began with the lighting of the lamp and a prayer song. Students from the pre-primary section — Dwit Pandey, Neel, and Neev — welcomed Principal Dr. Skand Bali and Registrar Colonel Sharma by presenting them with floral bouquets.
The little students from the primary section presented a street play titled “The Importance of Labor,” which beautifully conveyed the value of hard work. The innocent words of these young children won everyone’s hearts. Tanvika Agarwal, a student of class 2D, captivated the audience with her self-composed poem.
This year’s Hindi Diwas celebration also included a blend of Urdu Diwas. Students of the Urdu language mesmerized everyone by reciting a ghazal by Amir Khusro. A comedic skit titled “Baat Ka Batangad,” written by Head of the Hindi Department, Mr. Sunil Dutt Sharma, entertained the audience while also giving the message that one should not blindly believe in hearsay.
Although Vice Principal Mrs. Amrita Chandra Raju could not attend the event due to unavoidable reasons, the video message she sent brought smiles to the students’ faces. A dance performance based on the Hindi language added energy and vibrancy to the celebration.
Principal Dr. Skand Bali appreciated the efforts of the students and wholeheartedly praised the hard work of the teachers, congratulating the entire team associated with the event. Mr. Ravi Katra, Hindi teacher and Middle School Coordinator, concluded the celebration by expressing gratitude and appreciation for everyone’s participation. The event ended with the National Anthem.
