It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to the much-awaited **Inter-House Dance Competition – Nritya Pratibha**.
I, Subhashini, take great privilege in welcoming each one of you to this celebration of rhythm, expression, and creativity.
Let us begin this beautiful morning with a Sanskrit shloka on dance:
“Yato hasta stato drishti, Yato drishti stato manah, Yato manah stato bhavo, Yato bhavo stato rasah.”
Where the hand goes, the eyes follow; where the eyes go, the mind follows; where the mind goes, expression arises; and where there is expression, there emerges beauty and essence.
We now move on to the **Lighting of the Lamp**, a symbol of knowledge, creativity, and wisdom.

Before we begin, I request our honourable Principal to kindly draw the chits to decide the order of performances for today’s event.

Each performance represents the unique culture, colour, and essence of different regions of our country.

Next, we present the **Sambalpuri Folk Dance**.
A lively dance from Odisha, known for its graceful steps, hand movements, and traditional costumes that reflect the soul of Odia culture.

Next, we present the **Lambadi Folk Dance**.
Performed by the Banjara community, Lambadi dance is full of energy, colourful attire, and rhythmic patterns that mirror their nomadic life.

Next, we present the **Dhakla Folk Dance**.

Next, we present the **Lavani**.
