Bridges beyond Borders: The HPS European Educational & Cultural Exchange Trip 2025

Twenty-six young ambassadors from The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet & three from HPS Kadapa set out on an unforgettable journey across Denmark, Germany and Poland (20 Sept – 3 Oct 2025).

From exploring Copenhagen’s castles and chalk cliffs to interacting with professors at the University of Hamburg and tracing history through Berlin’s iconic landmarks, every stop was a lesson in curiosity and connection.

The journey reached its heart in Łódź, Poland, where students were warmly welcomed by XXXI Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Ludwika Zamenhofa. Homestays, cultural performances and sports fostered genuine connections, while the spirited Poland–India Friendship Day, featuring traditional dances and the lively “Dress Up Your Partner” activity, beautifully captured the essence of unity in diversity.

A visit to the Parliament of Poland (Parlament Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej) offered students an insightful glimpse into the functioning of democracy, while a meeting at Łódź City Hall with Mr. Tomasz Trela, Vice President of Łódź, highlighted the city’s progressive spirit and its commitment to fostering international collaboration.

The group, led by Ms. Amrita Chandra Raju, Vice Principal, HPS-B and accompanied by two teacher representatives, was joined by Principal Dr. Skand Bali during the Poland leg, adding inspiration and warmth to the exchange.

More than a trip, this was a transformative experience, one that expanded horizons, built friendships and proved that true education transcends classrooms and borders.
