National Mathematics Day

National Mathematics Day – 22 December 2025

The Department of Mathematics at The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet celebrated National Mathematics Day on 22 December 2025, commemorating the birth anniversary of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

The event was graced by our Special Guest, Mr. Saqib Alladin, an HPS alumnus (Batch of 1981), whose presence inspired students and staff. The programme included a Mathematics Pledge, an engaging Intra-School Quiz, lively dance performances, and a creative skit titled “Mathematicians Return”, highlighting the enduring relevance of mathematics.

The celebration successfully blended logic, creativity, and enthusiasm, fostering a deeper appreciation for mathematical thinking among students.
