Lets Go Shopping Day
Let’s Go Shopping Day perfectly embodied Te Whāriki’s commitment to real-world, experiential learning as our PP students embarked on an educational shopping adventure! They explored the concepts of buying and selling, practiced using plastic money and digital payments, and visited a variety of shops such as bakery, stationery, clothing, fruits and vegetables, grocery, footwear and accessories. Watching their excitement as they made purchases, calculated change, and interacted with ‘shopkeepers’ reminded us that the most meaningful learning happens when education mirrors real life.
