IGNITE 2026 – THE TWIN CITIES INTERACT CLUBS FORUM
IGNITE 2026 -The Interact Club Forum of Hyderabad and Secunderabad was conducted on 10th January, 2026 at the DRS International School, Kompally. The theme of this event was –Sustainable Development Goals.
155 Interactors and 14 School coordinators from the twin cities participated in the daylong event. From the Hyderabad Public School, 8 Interactors participated along with their teacher coordinator, Ms Sumeet Kaur. The event was sponsored by DRS International School and the Srinivas Gowra Foundation and conducted by RCCS on behalf of District 3150, Golconda (Twin Cities) Region.
The first speaker, Rtn Sharath Chowdary, Immediate Past District Governor effortlessly explained the importance of the SDGs to the Interactors. He also gave them tips on how they could contribute.
The second speaker, Rtn BVP Raju, District Secretary, Learning Resources Rtn Raju connected the SDGs seamlessly with the seven focus areas of Rotary. He was a great motivating force and impressed upon the Interactors the need to serve the world as Interactors, Rotaractors and then as Rotarians.
The ART & ARTICULATE competition was a visual and aural treat as four students from each school eloquently expressed their take on SDG through colourful charts.
In the SPEAK OUT competition, 2 students from each school convincingly presented their ideas and understanding of the SDG Goals.
The PITCH DECK competition was a treat to listen to, as 8 students from each Interact club vied with each other to showcase their solutions to achieve one or more SDG Goals through a power point presentation and logical arguments. The enthusiastic and energetic Interactors participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
All in all, IGNITE 2026, the programme for the Interactors of the Twin cities (Golconda Region) was a great success as the Interactors left the venue with smiles and gratitude and their energy was palpable even at the end of the long day!
