Field Trip
On 6 January 2025, the Grade 4 students and teachers visited Vinod Farms (Active Farm) in Muchintal on an educational field trip. The farm provided a rich learning experience with nearly 4,000 species of trees, along with a variety of flowering and ornamental plants. Students were fascinated to observe heritage trees over 160 years old and ancient fossils, gaining insights into nature and history. The visit also included enjoyable bullock cart and tractor rides across the fields, offering hands-on exposure to traditional farming practices. Students explored the poultry farm, where they observed different species of birds and benefited from the guide’s detailed explanations about plant varieties, their uses and characteristics. Overall, the trip was highly informative, engaging and memorable, fostering curiosity and environmental awareness among the students.
