Every element of the performance, choreography, scripting, music, and costumes was thoughtfully planned and guided by our Middle and Senior School Dance Teacher, Mrs. Subbulakshmi, whose dedication and vision enabled the students to shine.

At the competition, our students brought immense pride to the school by securing recognition in the following categories:

  1. Classical Dance (Nitya Manjari): Spectrum of Steps Award
  2. Western Lyrical Jazz Dance (Hybrid Beats): Elegance in Motion Award
  3. Storyteller’s Crown (Tatha Katha): Burra Katha in Hindi Award
  4. Outstanding Overall Excellence Award: Among all the 26 elite IPSC schools, including The Doon School, The Daly College, Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ School, Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, and many other premier institutions ,only five schools were honored with this prestigious award. We are proud to be one among them.

A special mention was received for our storytelling performance. Since one of the themes was “Storytelling through Song, Dance, and Music from Your Own Region”, Mrs. Subbulakshmi chose Burra Katha, a traditional folk narrative form of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. To ensure understanding in Jodhpur, the entire piece was carefully scripted in Hindi by her. This creative adaptation was met with special applause from the audience and jury, appreciating the thoughtfulness behind bringing a regional tradition to a national stage in such an inclusive way.

The event was further enriched by the gracious presence of SNA Awardee Smt. Rama Vaidyanathan, who conducted a Bharatanatyam workshop and extended her warm wishes to the participants for their sincere efforts.

Mrs. Neera Singh, Principal of the host school Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ School, Jodhpur, expressed her happiness at seeing our school as the only institution from the South to participate among all 26 IPSC schools. She deeply appreciated the effort it took to come from such a distance and warmly applauded the team’s dedication.

The Award Ceremony was graced by Maj. Gen. TPS Waraich, VSM (Retd.), Director of Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, who felicitated the winners and praised their exceptional performances.

Our Principal and Vice Principal Ma’am congratulated the entire team for their relentless dedication, creativity, and teamwork, which truly embody the spirit of excellence our school stands for.

These accolades are a shining reflection of our students’ hard work, discipline, and passion for dance.

Thank you
