The AFS Hyderabad Chapter Meet was hosted by The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, on Saturday, 8th November 2025. The meeting was presided over by Ms. Deepa Kapoor, President of the Hyderabad Chapter, and attended by AFS coordinators from Suchitra Academy, Solitaire Global School, HPS Begumpet, HPS Ramanthapur, and DPS Nacharam.

The meet commenced with a welcome and introduction of all members by Ms. Kapoor, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate 20 years of AFS India. Mr. Jack who had hosted Mr Varun who went for Educator’s Intercultural Exchange Program in Malaysia in July 2025, then addressed the gathering, after which representatives from each school shared updates on their AFS initiatives. Ms. Pratibha Dhal spoke about the various projects undertaken by her under the AFS banner. Aiofe, a YES Program participant from the US, shared her experience, followed by Mr. Varun, who spoke about his learnings from the Educator Exchange Program.

Akshith of Grade 12A then recounted his enriching experience in China, where he attended the month-long STEM BP Program on a full scholarship. The session concluded with an open floor for questions and discussions, and the presentation of a memento to Mr. Jack by Ms. Kapoor, followed by light refreshments.
